Winning Dinner Parties with Deliciously Inclusive Menus

Angela and Alice are a mother and daughter team who have developed a love of entertaining and doing it in an inclusive way. Not only are we more aware of food sensitivities and allergies, but people are increasingly conscientious about what they choose to put into their bodies. A good host is someone who puts their guests at ease and makes them feel welcome so providing food in a way that makes all your guests feel welcome and included is foundational for hosting a successful dinner party. We are here to help!

 

Alice has no special training in food preparation but has learned the craft through family. She married into an Italian family full of fabulous cooks which has helped tremendously. She honed her skills through several intense years of hosting large dinner parties almost every week. The dinners were rarely formal, just gatherings of friends and family, but provided the opportunity to try new recipes.

 

Angela started cooking in college because she wanted to eat the way she did at home, which meant pasta as a first course, and then a main dish with a salad or side vegetable. She also wanted to share her cooking with friends and the first meal she made for her boyfriend was chicken Milanese and pasta alle vongole (pasta with clams in white sauce). I guess it worked as they have now been married over 10 years. After she finished university, she studied commercial photography specializing in food photography.
